Book

It all started with the idea that me and my friend will be exchanging gift during Christmas season. Since we newly knew each other then it would be both hard for us to decided hat gift we will be giving.

We've agreed to exchange wish lists on what we want as for the exchanging gift. Sad for me she's fond on reading books. Ever since I don't really read book. I tried reading during my high school and college days but I wasn't able to finished it. I guess I'm not into and I'm not good in imagining things.

I thought that buying and searching a book for a Christmas present wouldn't be hard. I didn't think that she might read and the book that I'll be giving to her or worse she already have it.

To avoid having the fear that she might have the book or she wouldn't like it, I asked her to give me the exact title and author of the possible books that she doesn't have and she likes. Although it wouldn't be thrill anymore on her part because she already knew what I'll be giving, but I have a plan to make it surprising.

I went to a bookstore during the weekend to search for the book she wished to have it, but sad to say there was no book #1 in the Series of Unfortunate Events. Good I was able to think fast and go to the customer service section and ask if there are still available stock left on other branches here in cebu. Thank God, there was one left in mango avenue branch then I quickly told the customer service personnel to reserved it for me and my best friend offered that he will be the one to get the book.

I was very thankful to him because he was always been supportive to me. Also I was thankful for the customer service personnel for the effort she spent. What can I say? She's doing her job well, I hope she'll get a raise/bonus this month. LOL...

It was a nice experienced thinking, researching and consulting several friends where for find and what type of book to give to her. I'm glad I've accomplished it and my next task is to go delivery services maybe JRS/LBC to send my Christmas present to her hometown.
