January 2010
IN MY NATIVE LANGUAGE (BISLISH – Bisaya sagol Iniglis)
Apan akong namatngon, na dapat gyud diay ang tao once in a while kailangan mag recall gyud sa iyang nahibaw-an para dili matay-an. Ang pina ka common is mag take ta og notes. Naa ra nato kung unsaon nato ang notes dili malabay or mahimo og scratch paper.
Malipayong bag-o na tuig ninyong tanan. Hinaot unta na nindot na tuig karon, ang akong personal wish kay good health og world peace.
ENGLISH TRANSLATION
We went to Cathedral church to attend anticipated mass for January 01, 2010. It was raining and the weather is cold, as i was listening to the homily of the priest I was sleepy. My attention get caught when the priest mention about the history of January that it was derived from the roman mythology that represents two faces. A face that is looking backing and the other one was looking forward. After the mass, out of curiosity I planned to do a quick research about Janus. After all the firecrackers booms, I sat down in my computer and asked help for uncle google to give me information about Janus and I get result which directed me into Wikipedia.
In my own understanding and I hope I’m not wrong, the face that is looking backward symbolize that it can see the past years and the other face that is looking forward symbolize that it can see the future.
I’m pretty much sure this was teach during my High school days on World History subject. Overtime knowledge that were learn in school are replace by lessons and experiences. Lessons that are used in my day to day life. Experiences that are used for my day to day work.
I came to realized that once in a while a person should refresh/recall on what he/she learns so that it will not be forgotten. There a lot of ways to retain on what we learned from the post. Most common way is through taking notes. It depends on us on how we kept our notes so that it wouldn’t be put to trash or used as a scratch paper.
Happy new year to all. I hope that this year will be great. My personal wish is good health and world peace.
