Mother’s Day
It is time once again to greet our beloved mother happy mother’s day. I’m grateful that I have a mother that still scold me when I go home early morning, if I wake up late even I don’t have work and many more things. At the time when I was still studying, I said it to myself, I’ll study hard so that my beloved mama wouldn’t scold me if I go night out with friends and anything I do for the reason I did what she wanted and wished for, that I must be able to finish college. After I graduated college, I quickly look for a job so that she would be impress to me and also I wanted to earn for myself so that I can spent it hanging out with my friends.
But I was wrong, she continued to scold me that I go home late especially Friday and Saturday nights. She continued everything that she was doing. Sometimes, I said it to myself, isn’t it enough to have a degree in college and I already have a job. But I never opened it up to her and told her my thoughts fearing it will hurt her and I don’t want her to be emotional. As I grow old, I’ve realized that my mama was just simply being a mother, she continued to care for me and my siblings, she continued her duty as a mother even we are old enough to make our decisions. I’m glad for 32 years of my existence she’s still looking out for me. Parents always think what’s the best for their sons and daughter. That’s why no matter how annoyed I am listening her scolding at me, I just don’t mind it much cause she’s just showing she cares and loves me.
For my mama, and my friends mother, HAPPY MOTHERS DAY, wishing you all the best in life. For those friends whose mother had past away, don’t be sad just try to feel your heart and remember the days you spent time with them.
