Reflection
Currently I'm working in a new company focuses on software packages. I was one of the pioneers employee of the company and one of my job is interviewing and scouting software developer applicants. It was hard looking for applicants that will fit into the company standards. Out of desperate measures that I couldn't find someone qualified, I was closely tempted to get my previous officemates to join me. But then I remembered, I don't want to be like Mister X.
Mister X is a person who likes getting people from his previous employers to join with him which makes me conclude that he can't be a team player if he doesn't get his own set of people to work with him and he can manipulate it.
After hours and days thinking on my strategic plan on scouting software developers, I decided not to be like Mister X. I realized that it would be a challenge to work with people whom you don't know and to be able to established a competitive team of software developers.
After weeks and months interviewing and scouting software developers. Im happy we've found one who is good and passionate. However, his skills will be tested for months if his qualified to fit into the standards of the company. I wish he can make it.
